Exploring London & Beyond

Paul is a member of this group, which organises walks in all areas of London, and – at least three times a year – beyond, on all-day trips to places within a roughly 100-mile radius of London. In the spring 2024 term, for example, Paul and his colleague Hugh will be leading walks in places as diverse as the newly reopened National Portrait Gallery and Young V & A Museum, Fitzrovia, the new East Bank near Stratford, Carshalton, Morden Hall Park, Battersea Power Station, Stanmore, Canons Park, and an all-day trip to Christchurch in the New Forest.

Paul's programme for the spring 2024 term:

• Tuesday January 9th, Wednesday January 10th 1.45pm: Bedford Park
• Tuesday January 23rd, Wednesday January 24th 1.45pm: Young V & A Museum
• Tuesday January 30th, Wednesday January 31st 1.45pm: Fitzrovia
• Tuesday February 27th, Wednesday February 28th 1.45pm: Morden Hall Park and Morden Hall
• Tuesday March 12th, Wednesday March 13th 1.45pm: Stanmore
• Tuesday March 19th, Wednesday March 20th 1.45pm: Canons Park
• Tuesday in July (date to be confirmed): All-day trip to Knole House

Walks take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1.45pm, and cost £15 for non-members. Or you may wish to consider joining for a term (£120), or for a year (£300), which works out, in the course of 12-14 visits per term, a great deal cheaper in the long run.
